Hi, I’m Peter, a career counselor/strategist who has been through more than a few twists and turns on my own career path. I’m certified with the Rockport Institute, the Myers & Briggs Foundation, and will earn my Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) credential in December 2025. Rockport is my go-to assessment suite, and I use it every day to help people find work that actually fits who they are.
My story is not a straight line. I started out with an interest in creative and analytical problem-solving, but I spent almost a decade in consulting. I moved from role to role, sometimes by choice and sometimes because the company decided to restructure. I experienced being laid off more than once, and I know firsthand how destabilizing and humbling that can feel. Consulting offered a high salary and stability for my family, so I kept going even when the work did not fully fit me.
Eventually, I realized that chasing titles and paychecks was not the same as building a meaningful career. Revisiting my Rockport assessment reminded me where I thrive, in work that blends creativity, analysis, and human connection. That led me back toward roles I actually enjoyed, such as data visualization, UX work, and now, helping others find their unique career path.
Today, I bring both professional training and real-world experience to my coaching. I know what it is like to feel stuck, to pivot, and to rebuild with intention and optimism. I am passionate about helping people figure out not just what they can do, but what kind of work will actually make them feel energized and also become high performing.
