Evidence-based career and education guidance
Helping students and professionals make thoughtful, informed decisions about what comes next.
Our Mission
Choosing a college major or career path shouldn’t feel like guesswork. Abivi exists to help students, young adults, and career changers make informed decisions grounded in self-understanding, research, and practical guidance.
We believe people make better choices when they understand their strengths, values, and motivations and when those insights are connected to real-world options.
Who We Help
Abivi works with:
- Students exploring majors and career paths
- Families navigating college fit and affordability
- Professionals and career changers seeking clarity and alignment
Our approach is structured, thoughtful, and tailored to the individual. There is no one-size-fits-all path.

About the Founder
Hi, I’m Peter Davis, a career counselor and strategist who has navigated more than a few twists and turns firsthand.
My career has not followed a straight line. I spent years in consulting, moving between roles due to both personal choices and company restructurings. I experienced layoffs, uncertainty, and the pressure to prioritize stability and income over fit. Those experiences were humbling and deeply formative.
Revisiting my own career assessments helped me reconnect with the kind of work where I thrive. Work that blends creativity, analysis, and human connection. That clarity led me toward roles in data visualization, UX, and ultimately toward helping others make more intentional career decisions.
Today, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. I understand what it feels like to feel stuck, to pivot, and to rebuild with intention. My goal is to help people identify not just what they can do, but what kind of work will truly fit and sustain them over time.
